Conventions of a Poster

Along with making a teaser trailer, we must construct a Poster for the film. There are some key conventions of a poster which we need to include which are:

• Title of film
• Image of the key character/ monarchs in the film may not be the main character)/ key bit in the film (mainly an action shot from the film)
• Date of the film's release
• Names of the main actors in the film
• Sometimes a slogan or phrase which is linked to the film
• If the film is available in 3D and IMAX
• Some show the production company
• If the director is well known then their names are also shown on the poster
